About This Course
Preparing and qualifying general physician assistants who join the department, in accordance with ethical standards, knowledge, quality and skills to adapt to a changing health care environment to enable the graduate to work in all branches of the health field.
- Ethical Conduct and Honesty: The student should adhere to professional ethics and act with integrity in all their endeavors.
- Diagnosis, Treatment, and Prevention: The student should be able to diagnose and treat illnesses within the scope of their knowledge and abilities. They should also work to prevent respiratory, endemic, and malnutrition-related diseases, as well as other health issues affecting individuals and communities.
- Comprehensive Healthcare Services: The student should provide preventive and curative healthcare services within their workplace and according to their qualifications, always adhering to the professional practice law.
- Improving Public Health: The student should contribute to improving public health by recognizing health problems and addressing them in collaboration with relevant organizations.
- Health Promotion: The student should promote health awareness at both the individual and community levels.
- Disease Prevention: The student should take necessary measures to prevent the spread of infectious diseases within the community.
- Maternal and Child Health: The student should actively participate in maternal and child healthcare, as well as family planning.
- Emergency Response: The student should be able to handle emergencies, provide first aid, and treat patients in hospitals, clinics, and health units.
- Program Development and Management: The student should participate in developing national health programs and effectively manage available human and material resources.
- Research and Reporting: The student should prepare scientific reports on the health situation, develop research proposals, and implement them.
