About This Course
The training program aims to disseminate the culture of international arbitration in all its forms within the Yemeni commercial and investment community. It seeks to acquaint participants with the legal principles of international arbitration in investment contracts, and to develop qualified national cadres capable of managing the arbitration process in this field. The program also aims to enable participants to master the drafting of arbitration agreements, managing arbitration sessions, and issuing arbitration awards in accordance with the rules of the International Chamber of Commerce and the UNCITRAL Model Law on International Commercial Arbitration

- Review of the international investment arbitration tribunal and its appeal and enforcement (ICC Paris Rules, UNCITRAL Rules, World Bank Convention on the Settlement of Investment Disputes).
- The concept of communication in arbitration hearings, its types, and obstacles.
- Duties of the president of the arbitration tribunal and the arbitrators, and the stages of holding a tribunal meeting.
- Key concepts for managing meetings and ensuring the smooth running of arbitration hearings.
- Dialogue and persuasion in arbitration hearings.
